How to Pray?

Before you can start praying, you must ensure that your body is clean from hadas and you have the wudhuk (ablution). There are five (5) main prayer a day:
  1. Subuh or Fajr (two (2) rakaat)

  2. Zuhur (four (4) rakaat)

  3. Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  4. Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  5. Isyak or Isha (four (4) rakaat)

There are recommended daily praying schedule for those who wanted to start praying or for those who wanted to start increasing their Iman or the faith. Some etiquettes need to be complied or administered before you can start performing these prayer schedule. These etiquettes shall give you an internal boost to build your spiritual strength and eventually your physical strength.

Rules:
  1. Stop eating pork or eating prohibited animal in Islam. This means that you only eat halal foods or animals which are being slaughtered in Islamic way.

  2. Stop consume alcohol or any liquid that can make you drunk.

Recommendations:
  1. Stop smoking.

  2. Seek forgiveness from your parent for all your wrong doing in the past if any. For women, seek forgiveness from your husband.

  3. Avoid your eyes from watching porn or anything that is haram to look.

  4. Avoid speaking something that does not give you any benefits.

  5. Avoid typing or writing something that does not give you any benefits.

  6. Always smile.

  7. Sleep at 10pm at the latest or start sleeping within the early one third of the night to ensure that your body have a quality rest.

  8. Do prayer at the beginning of the allocated time frame.

Practices:
  1. Prepare your best prayer mat which is clean, fragrant and soft for those who can afford it, to avoid pain on your feet and your backbone.

  2. If you feel something while you are praying, try to cry. You will feel comfort and calm.

  3. Before performing subuh or fajr prayer, go outside to your balcony with your warm water, hot coffee or tea and look to the sky. Take deep breath a few times. At this hour, you can speak or make doa to Allah because He comes down to the lowest level of the sky to listen to our doa.

Warnings:

Do not be proud, envy or arrogant of what you are doing or what you have done in seeking Allah blessing. If you feeling or getting something from Allah, keep it to yourselves. Do not speak or mention about it because other people can see the blessing, enjoyment, happiness and sometime good smell through you. Everybody has their Qada' and Qadar written. Everybody has wealth and sustenance guaranteed and given by Allah. If you become arrogant, Allah can sometimes take it back.

Praying Schedule:

All prayer need to be done in Arabic language. Thus, get one copy of Al-Quran (without translation) and find a teacher, to teach you on how to read and say the surah correctly. If you miss one day or miss any prayer, you will have to repeat the current schedule phase again. Thus, you will have to force yourselves to do it. The purpose is to defeat the devil inside you and suppress your evil passion. Remember, your true enemy is the syaiton or the devil and the evil lust or passion inside you. You will experience eternal glory and the sweetness of iman if you have successfully defeat them.

First Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 3 rakaat (Newborn Level)
  1. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  2. Memorize surah Al-Fatihah (The Opener) - main surah for any and every prayer

  3. Memorize surah Al-Kawthar (The Abundance)

Second Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 7 rakaat (Infant Level)
  1. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  2. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  3. Memorize surah Al-Asr (The Declining Day)

  4. Memorize surah Al-Nasr (The Devine Support)

Third Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 9 rakaat (Toddler Level)
  1. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  2. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  3. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  4. Memorize surah Al-Ikhlas (The Sincerity)

  5. Memorize surah Quraysh (The Quraysh)

Fourth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 13 rakaat (Children Level)
  1. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  2. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  3. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  4. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  5. Memorize surah Al-Falaq (The Day Break)

  6. Memorize surah Al-Masad (The Palm Fiber, Flame)

Fifth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 17 rakaat (Teenager Level)
  1. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  2. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  3. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  4. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  5. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  6. Memorize surah Al-Fil (The Elephant)

  7. Memorize surah Al-Qadr (The Power)

Sixth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 19 rakaat (Freshman Level)
  1. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  2. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  3. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  4. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  5. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  6. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  7. Memorize surah Al-Kafirun (The Disbelievers)

  8. Memorize surah Al-Naas (The Mankind)

Seventh Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 24 rakaat (Sophomore Level)
  1. Pray Tahajjud (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah early morning prayer

  2. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  3. Pray Dhuha (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah morning bright prayer

  4. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  5. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  6. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  7. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  8. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  9. Pray Witir (one (1) rakaat)

  10. Memorize surah Al-Ma'un (The Small Kindness)

  11. Memorize surah At-Takathur (The Bragging)

Eighth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 38 rakaat (Junior Level)
  1. Pray Tahajjud (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah early morning prayer

  2. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  3. Pray Rawatib before subuh (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  4. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  5. Pray Dhuha (two (2) rakaat - sunnah morning bright prayer

  6. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  7. Pray Rawatib after zuhur (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  8. Pray Rawatib before asar (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  9. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  10. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  11. Pray Rawatib after maghrib (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  12. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  13. Pray Rawatib after Isyak (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  14. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  15. Pray Witir (Three (3) rakaat)

  16. Memorize surah Az-Zalzalah (The Earthquake)

  17. Memorize surah Al-Bayyinah (The Clear Proof)

Ninth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 50 rakaat (Senior Level)
  1. Pray Tahajjud (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah early morning prayer

  2. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  3. Pray Hajat (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to fulfill wishes

  4. Pray Rawatib before subuh (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  5. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  6. Pray Dhuha (two (2) rakaat - sunnah morning bright prayer

  7. Pray Rawatib before Zuhur (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  8. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  9. Pray Rawatib after zuhur (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  10. Pray Rawatib before asar (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  11. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  12. Pray Rawatib before maghrib (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  13. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  15. Pray Rawatib before isyak (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  16. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  17. Pray Rawatib after Isyak (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  18. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  19. Pray Witir (Three (3) rakaat)

  20. Memorize surah At-Tin (The Fig)

  21. Memorize surah Ash-Sharh (The Relief)

Tenth Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 60 rakaat (Master Level)
  1. Pray Tahajjud (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah early morning prayer

  2. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  3. Pray Hajat (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to fulfill wishes

  4. Pray Rawatib before subuh (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  5. Pray Subuh (two (2) rakaat)

  6. Pray Dhuha (two (2) rakaat - sunnah morning bright prayer

  7. Pray Rawatib before Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  8. Pray Zuhur (four (4) rakaat) or Friday prayer (two (2) rakaat)

  9. Pray Rawatib after zuhur (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  10. Pray Rawatib before asar (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  11. Pray Asar (four (4) rakaat)

  12. Pray Rawatib before maghrib (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  13. Pray Maghrib (three (3) rakaat)

  14. Pray Rawatib after maghrib (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  15. Pray Rawatib before isyak (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah qabliyah obligatory bound prayer

  16. Pray Isyak (four (4) rakaat)

  17. Pray Rawatib after Isyak (four (4) rakaat) - sunnah ba'diyah obligatory bound prayer

  18. Pray Taubah (two (2) rakaat) - sunnah prayer to ask Allah to repent any sin

  19. Pray Witir (three (3) rakaat)

  20. Memorize surah Al-Humazah (The Slanderer)

  21. Memorize surah Ad-Duha (The Morning Hours)

Eleventh Phase: (41 days or 3 months) - 60 rakaat (PhD Level)
  1. Continue ALL in Master Level

  2. Memorize surah Al-Qari'ah (The Calamity)

  3. Memorize surah Al-Mulk (The Kingdom)
